THE DOLLHOUSE THIEVES

The Dollhouse Thieves is a multi-instrumental Denver project started by husband and wife team Niki and Luke Tredinnick that blends elements of neo-rock with indie-folk, using jazz-influenced vocals and unconventional instruments such as accordion, clarinet, and trombone. The band members all hold music degrees in composition, education, and performance, and share over a decade of performing and writing music together in various settings across the country to make them an exceptional group. Their aptitude for singing and playing a multitude of string, percussion, woodwind, brass, and keyboard instruments within a wide array of styles evokes enchantment and delight in their audiences.

Their first full-length album The Dollhouse Thieves was released digitally and on vinyl in June 2018. Delving into personal and universal themes of mental health, loss, romance, nature, and inner conflict, and weaving in and out of genres, their debut album showcased their musical versatility. It stays true to Luke and Niki's fondness for their Colorado state and features several notable Colorado musicians, including Jean-Luc Davis (The Railsplitters), Zack Littlefield, Olivia Shaw (Avenhart), and Jessica Carson (The Prairie Scholars).

"The Dollhouse Thieves" band name comes from Luke's mother's nickname for her cousins who reclaimed the family heirloom dollhouse (her toy as a child). This kind of family story speaks to us, because we are about community and family; striving to bring people together and spark curiosity and imagination through our music.

Amy Rose Scott will also be performing at Mountain Jams, then again later at theplein Air Opening Reception at 809 Taos Street (5.30PM)

Amy Rose Scott is an Acoustic Folk Musician who has toured nationally with bands and has played as a Solo Artist throughout Colorado since moving to the mountains in 2012. She began singing at the age of 4 years old, using a hairbrush as a microphone, along to her Patsy Cline records. As an interpreter of songs, she enjoys arranging music in her own unique style with her signature Folk/Country sound. Her biggest desire is to bring Love, Joy and Healing to the world through her voice. Her passion for using music as a healing force led her to study Therapeutic Music at The Music For Healing And Transition Program and she played music for patients as Therapeutic Musician Intern at St. Anthony Summit Hospital from 2018-2020. Amy has been featured on the cover of The Clear Creek Courant and is the proud recipient of 2021 Idaho Springs Best of Live Music. She currently resides in her beloved Mountain town of Georgetown, CO with her Husband Jacob (her Production Manager and Sound Engineer) and her loveable but naughty Fur Baby Flash!
