With the help of you and our partners, the Georgetown Trust met the challenges of 2023 while pursuing its mission to contribute to the sustainability of the Georgetown-Silver Plume National Historic Landmark District through historic preservation, arts and education, affordable housing, and public engagement.

Please review our highlights:

  • We collaborated to bring 22 days of performances to Library Park Stage every summer Saturday, including famous groups like Hazel Miller, and Fiesta Colorado, along with local, regional, and national favorites. These concerts created a lively atmosphere in Georgetown’s historic downtown business district.

  • We filled the national historic landmark district with painters for our annual Plein Air festival and exhibition.

  • We collaborated to bring quality performances, screenings, and educational events to the public while expanding our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

  • We hosted a highly successful Georgetown Bighorn Sheep Festival that celebrates our famous free-range herd and teaches the public about conserving and protecting wildlife resources.

  • We facilitated improvements and interpretation of the Santiago Mill, increasing awareness of the Waldorf Basin and its importance as a rare natural and cultural resource.

With your support, we will continue to bring even more artistic and educational programming to the Georgetown-Silver Plume National Historic Landmark District and its environs while engaging in and supporting historic preservation and interpretive projects.

Sincerely,
